Fly Fishing

Working on a new project; DRYFT Fishing Gear

I haven’t posted anything in a while. Kind of been slacking in terms of posting to my blog, and in fishing. We’re in kind of a transition period between fishing seasons here, without a huge amount of local opportunity. Sure, I could drive to the Olympic peninsula or up to Canada to chase Steelhead.  I did go to the OP a couple weeks ago, and had a nice camping trip. I say it was a nice camping trip, because while we did fish hard, we came up fishless.

On to the point. The main reason I’ve been neglecting to write is that I’ve been spending almost all of my free time working on a new Outdoor fishing gear startup. We’re calling it DRYFT.

So far we’re focusing mainly on designing and creating a line of technical products, that we hope to release by mid summer. We aren’t going into the details of our product line yet, as we’re still deep into the preliminary steps. Once we have a working prototype, expect to see lots of details.

In the meantime, we have our website up, and put a few fishing t-shirts up for sale. If you buy one, we’ll donate 5% to fishing conservation.

Check out the DRYFT Blog, and leave a comment for us.
